So in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the N64, it's possible to see a little Arwing (the ship you pilot in the Starfox series) not only fly around, but attack you in Kokiri Forest. It requires a Gameshark, of course.

Seriously, I was skeptical about this, but I tried it out for myself. Go read about it and see an awesome video here:

And I thought Ocarina of Time was all tapped out of its secrets. Hooray Gameshark.

I remember using Game Genie to unlock a secret level that was left in Super Mario World 3. (for NES)

I love these devices.

Cool Easter egg.

I caught the loach. You have to use the sinking lure hidden in a) the log or b) the reeds. It takes forever to catch it (it only comes out during certain times of the day), and you have to land the lure right in front of it and wiggle it like mad. 30 lbs, if I recall correctly.

Cool easter eggs like this are a great bonus to a game.

JediGandalf: I can only suggest two things for you to check:

-There are three versions of OoT, and you need to know which one is yours so you can put in the right one (I don't think this is the case)

-You inputed in the Gameshark code wrong, probably a single digit (this might be the case).

Otherwise, I can't help you out. I am interested in that Game Genie code for SMB3 though that someone else here mentioned.

I just noticed something..

They dubbed the audio from their Hyrulian Loach thing over the Arwing video.

Making me think that they're falsly claiming credit for this. The jerks.

The video was actually recorded by some guys at GSCentral.org who get the credit for discovering this code. I just threw the audio from the loach video into it for ha-has.

Clever you.

Yeah, I had the same kind of experience. My friend owned the game, brought it over and wanted to teach me how to fish. I caught the loach on my first try, as young Link. The expression on his face and his reaction were priceless. :o

I think you mean Super Mario Brothers 3, especially consider SMW3 doesn't exist. :p

But it reminds me of a time when I was younger and saw some guy playing Super Mario World at Wal-Mart. There was some area with like tons of goal posts. Never did find it on my own. :(

I waited till the Adult Link part, because I thought it would be bigger.

I was right. :)
