Microsoft seems to realize that not supporting the given standards might not've been a good idea.

IMHO this is very brave for them. But also bold to demand that the webdesigners should now change their pages again for IE.

Good. If this means IE and Firefox (and Opera) get closer to each other in terms of rendering end results, I think all is well. Perhaps some day in the future I actually might have use advanced enough CSS so that this would have affected me, if left untended :p
