Well, I thought I'd commemorate this day with a post. It has now been 5 years since I registered under this nickname here at Massassi. Not only that, but it is also my 1000th post. Yes, I haven't exactly been the most active forum member.

I would also like everyone to post a memory or two of something that has happened here (on the forums, the main page, or the chat) over the past several years.

I know for me, I remember when #massassi was still fairly new, and we were on ChatCircuit. At that time, CadetLee was the founder of the chat. Then one night, the IRCops decided to kick us off the server permanently. In fact, quite a few users were banned from the server. It was definitely an interesting moment.

Now you guys post your memories.

I remember Pugler.

I remember when ubuu was a dbag.

Not that I contributed, but I saw it alot.

The massassi skin pack thread.

Oh yeah...I was a part of that thread. It has been alittle bit over 6 years at Massassi for me I think.

As do I. Bad times.

Just over 4 years for me.

I remember when Brian left.



But then he came back.

I remeber Zecks hitting 1,000 after 5 years of being on Massassi.

I think I arrived just before Brian left. And then he came back, yeah.

I also remember Pugler. And um, the return of Z@NARDI.

I remember when I was banned.

Oh wait, I'm still banned! Sweet

Anyone remember that whole incident over an unknown movie producer person who offered a "million dollars" for the mod Laboratory? Whatever happened to that.

Spiral already had a million dollars.

Holy cow its been 5 years for me too and I hadnt even realized. It was 4 days ago... or 9. I dont remember if it was the 10th or the 5th when I registered... we'll see after I post this.

(edit) it was the 4th... 11 days off, and apparently I forgot my exact registration date

It's been too long. Seriously. I've wasted soooo much time here. Although not as much as Avenger. :p

I remember Brian leaving. I remember reviewing levels, back when the review system was up. I remember UBB and the many bannings of Jaiph. I also remember JediNights.

Remember Em Playa and how Massassi seemed to be so worked up on him for some reason? Remember S51's funny suicide note? Remember the AC and SWG forums? Remember the lonely Rbot forum? Remember the aocowner's 500MB Zelda mod? Remember when the levels/news were updated regularly? Remember all the former admins?

I could go on.

I remember mostly good times......though there were some low moments to be found. Overall, this place ain't so bad. CHEERS!

I could go on with random things, but one has to be when I made really random threads like "Is there life beyond this Earth". I think Elana14 and GBK posted on that thread, at least.

Not to mention when I had some odd web1000 address and it lead to some pornsite. Of course, I had to announce it and make a thread with the link.

Other things... well, the 2002 christmas thred was called Booty Call or something.

I remember a ton. Where is Captain Ramen?

I remember when Brian left. I remember when one of our editors pasted away.

Did he copy away too? lol...And brian is still around dude!. Captain Ramen unfortunantly...he met the boiled fate of many other a noodle.

Yeah I remember when he came back too, but that doesn't mean I don't remember when he left.

I heard family issues, but that's about it.

I remember when JKedit vs JED arguments were a daily occurence... and there were abortion, homeschooling and christianity debates every day on the forums and in the chat.

massassi not only owns my soul but a good seven and a half years of my life and three nicknames heh

All I can remember is like a guy named captain wolf or something like that saying he was gonna suicide... or something... Pulger never bothered me though. Trolls are guys who post ******, not Pulger who was just.... odd...

I also remember the religion forum.

I've been with Massassi since the start, but lurked for quite a while before registering on the UBB forums. (I was also registered on the WWW forums, but I don't think I ever posted.)

I still remember when JediNights was active, when the IPboard was working, Massassi Zone takeover day, when Slug left, when Brian left, when Kedri left, when Darth Cantelope was annoying us all, and Pugler (I wonder how many people here don't know who Pugler is?! I feel old ), and when there was a new TC in the making every other week, when Drazen Isle was first released, when 16bit mats were discovered, when the Massassi chatroom first opened, when JO was first announced, when everyone was pissed about Obi-Wan not coming to PCs, when everyone was gearing up to edit Indiana Jones and became illegal, when we switched hosting to ReconGamer from UGO, when the forum of *snipe* was still popular, when TACC actually received updates on a regular basis, when NeS was really popular, when the Religious Discussion forum was open, and subsequently closed, when the Asheron's Call forum open and only the diehards ever posted, including someone who talked with himself, when Madquack was around with the underwear issues, when editors like ctsketch and Threedee were popular, when I introduced Madaventor to the forums, when he died , when I tried my original free webhosting service, when we had the "Massassi Licks" page, when Britstorm was around, when the editors corner was the best feature added to massassi, when Brian got yelled at for having "infopoop.com" instead of "infopop.com" at the bottom of the UBB forums, when everyone freaked out (and it was multiple times) when the UBB forums died with too many threads, the multiple times we thought the Massassi website died, the time when everyone tried to find out what happened to Cave Demon, when we thought he was dead, when Spork was still an awesome and commonly played mod... and theres more, but I can't go on.

Needless to say, Massassi has a lot of history!

(I'm sorry to all you old Massassians, this post will probably make you have a heart attack cause you feel so old knowing all this stuff. It did for me too )

Ah, Religious Discussion. Good times when all crap was stored in one forum I never checked.

For some reason I remember a guy named "Shoebox" who pissed off a lot of people in a short amount of time ( I don't know why), until blujay told him off.
