Three lines, no need to rhyme, first line 5 syllables, then 7, then 5 again.

Endless drudgery
Mindless tasks surrounding you
Get out of your cage

I am writing haikus
Because I do not have school

I hate these poems
Although nice, they're not true to
the spirit of haikus.

I sometimes try to
fit too many words in them
and then run out of
