A question reguarding VirtualDub...

Hi!
I have on my computer VirtualDub 1.5.2. I'm just wondering... Why does it cut off the last 2 seconds of an AVI? Any way I can fix this?
I find it bothersome to have to record an extra 2 seconds to make sure everything gets in.

Try messing with "Range" on the "Video" menu.

Genesis 22:2-5 - And God said unto Abraham "You must kill your son, Isaac." And Abraham said "What? I can't hear you! You'll have to speak into the microphone." And God said "Check, check, check, check. Jerry, can you pull the high end out. I'm getting some hiss up here."

I've looked at the Select Range, and it says:
Start Offset: 0 0
Length: All Frames and ms
End Offset: 0 0

When I change the end offset, the length decreeses.

I've even tried selecting the Mark in and Mark out on the toolbar below.

I know nothing about the program, but perhaps a negative figure for the end offset, that would perhaps offset it to the "right," in terms of time, as opposed to ending it early.

Did you try negative numbers for the end offset?

Are you using "Full Processing Mode" (on the video menu)? Also, are you using any special filters or compression codecs?

"But what?"
What?
"You said, 'ment to be a pain in the, but.'"
No. It's um... It's a... It's a part of the body. It's um... Oh, you have the damndest gaps in your vocabulary.
"In preparing to come here, I was not taught, um, the more... colorful aspects of your language. It was considered inappropriate for one of the religious caste."
You're missing out on a whole lot.
"So I gather. Butt... Butt. I butt. You butt. He or she butts."
No... It's um...
"Butt butt, butt butt."
You sound like a motorboat.
"Motor butt? I do not think I like the sound of that."
Well, I don't blame you. I'm against the whole idea.
"Then we are in agreement."
Absofragginlutely.

Can anyone guess where it's from? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/biggrin.gif]

No. Try reinstalling virtual dub. I've never had a clipping problem.
