I don't know the technical mumbo-jumbo, but somewhere in there, it's failing to project colors. In other words, hit it till it turns the right color. (seriously) Once it's the right color, get on newegg and order another one. (also seriously) I had to order my new one ever since hitting my old one stopped helping. Mine would turn purple :p

It's probably a problem with the plug on your monitor cable. See if there are any pins missing or bent.

I've seen this color problem before at school. We just wiggled the monitor cable until it went away :)

It's probably, like Bill said, a bad cable plug to your monitor.

Do you mean the screen color is just tinting? That happened to me, but it stopped eventually. It's just old.
I had a blog. It sucked.

Check the cable connectors, moneyoshort. If they're fine go get a new monitor. LCDs are awesome. Old LCDs have ghosting problems etc etc, but new ones don't have that problem and are much better than CRTs. Less desk space, brighter, clearer, sharper picture. <3. 17" LCD > 19" CRT.

Like everyone else has said, check the cable. My previous monitor used to turn purple until I wiggled the cable. Probably a short in the cable somewhere 'cause the pins were fine.
