When eating pasta, or just about anything else, Romano > Parmesan.
Think while it's still legal.

Never had Romano, and parmeson sucks.
What kind of a cheese poll has only two cheeses on it?

I must be uncivilized, because Romano doesn't ring any bells. So, I guess I'll do with my vote what JDKNITE188 did before.

I like both parm and romano equally well.

I hope you guys are talking from experience using REAL parmesan, not that pre-grated CRAP like from kraft.

which type of pasta? it's all relevant. what's the dish? I don't just eat pasta and cheese on it's own, they're the two most filling foodstuffs in existance and I always accidentally give myself a huge platefull of food as it is.

That's a really good question, on some pasta's you don't even want cheese.
It all depends on the pasta and the sauce and whatever else they've chucked into it.

I thought I had worded that clearly -- like 3 revisions before posting. Damn loopholes :p

Don't call me a smartass proof for making sure you understood my post. That's just dumb.

Yeah, since I've eaten real parmigiano I can't touch this dry pre-grated stuff.
Sorry for the lousy German

I don't eat parmesian or any cheeses with weird italian names. I eat American cheese and cheddar.

You haven't tried anything till you've had Harvarti with herbs.

And I thought I was the only one on earth who ate cottage cheese on pasta... it was the only way I could swallow the military mess hall spaghetti. But I had to sustain stares and smart *** comments from my fellow diners.

Let's settle that Havarti is the best cheese, period. Don't care what's in it :D

You have misunderstood me, let me try and make it more clear:

I understood your post the first time I read it. But I felt like being a smartass and said "you have chips on your pasta?"

You see, your post was easily understood, but not immune to smartass comments. I didn't call you a smartass proof... that doesn't even make any sense.

I was just being humurous.
