I mount it overhand, which is the only correct way. Everything else is heresy.

By overhand I assume you mean the paper hangs down in front of the roll, while underhand means it hangs at the back of the roll. whenever I replace the bog roll, I mount it overhand.

Studies have actaully shown you use less TP overhand. Who has time to do those studies.....I don't know.

I always do it overhand, but I Dad I talked to recently he always installs it underhand because when his small children start spinning the roll, it doesn't unravel.

It's not mounted at all. It kind of leans against the wall on the radiator.

Overhand. I have actually switched an underhand roll to the overhand position at some places I have visited.

Overhand because it takes less effort to unroll.
