Damnit! They pushed back the fourth installement in the Elder Scrolls series (Oblivion), slated to be simultaenously released on Xbox 360 (at launch) and PC on Nov. 22nd, to early 2006 (Feb-April).

That just killed me. I want to cry. Or commit seppuku. But lacking of guts or wakisashi, or tears for that matter, I will settle for posting this here and being sad for... a couple hours.

But still, Xbox just lost a costumer thanks to Take-Two and Bethesda, as I will now have time to fully upgrade my computer to run the game on it.

Figured anyone waiting for it will want to know of this, thus is why I posted!

A) It's Bethesda.

B) I'd rather them release a good game 6 months later than a crappy game now

I saw this coming from a mile away. Glad this happened or else they would've rushed it out the door just to meet the 360 launch.

I view this as a good thing. Rather than potentially interfering with my finals early next month, I now have to worry about one less game eating up study time.

Oh, and all that jazz about rushing it and ending up with a crappy game...

MS is in full damage control right now. PS3 is going to cream it due to various blunders by its primary competitor.

.

Exactly. I've actually been thinking about it at school. I think, "Wow. Many of the original PS2/Xbox games really, really suck. Halo included. I hope Oblivion won't be the same..."

How did Halo suck? I'm not saying it didn't I never got really far into the game, I'm just curious as to why I've heard nothing but praise cept now! :P (Unless to refer to its multiplayer, which yes indeed did suck)

It was just your average shooter, it was just built well to play on a console, which was the majority of its fame.

Otherwise, it was only mediocre.
