Hah, I was going to do that for my Southern Babtist Priest costume, but I couldn't find paint that worked well enough.

Ahhh...it took me a minute.

I thought it said Gulf Coast Looser... and I was thinking "like a poor gulf coast person? like mexico or cuba?"

Then I realized.... "Gulf Coast Loo"TTTT"er"

Pretty funny actually.

There were a bunch of good costumes.

First we have a walking woopie cushion

Then we have witch gone diva (witch with green boa, sparkly broomstick, and orange tights)

Next up we have a grown man (well college student) in a full cow costume, complete with udders of course. He even had face paint to match.

Lastly we have my favorite, the "little person". A full sized person who tried to pass themselves off as a midget. Basically their top half was covered and make to look like an exceedingly large head. Half of their legs was in a hoodie with fake arms, and then the person had jeans and shoes as normal which easily looked convincing.

Pity I didn't have a camera... hehehe...

There was a guy at a U of R party MB and I went to last week who was dressed up as a box of wine. He had a big box around him with a wine label on the front and one on the back. Here's the kicker - he was actually a box of wine, wine came out the nozzle!

That's because people are dumb. I don't see why it should matter at all. If a guy dresses up as a chick for halloween, are girls offended? Are drag queens offended? Is anyone offended? I doubt it, and I really don't see why it should matter for race either.

Racism is when you hate or persecute a group of people based on their race. Making yourself black is not racist. But it seems that whenever someone dares to point out the fact that some people have different colored skin, people get upset.

Or, it could be taken that he's protesting that it was shown as if all the looters were black.

New Orleans had a lot of looting during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. New Orleans has a large black population who were mostly labeled as looters by the media, while whites were labeled as people who merely found stuff.

If you're talking about the same images I think you're talking about, you should look at snopes more.

I basically said the above rather than say New Orleans has a lot of black people who looted places after the hurricane, which would have been easier to explain for the costume. But I did not want to be assumed as, and accused as a racist. :p

I had a friend who went to the little boy's department at Wal-Mart and bought a Spider-Man costume. Picture a skinny 6'1" guy in a 12-year-old boy's Spider-Man custome.

Oh, it was hilarious.
