Do you like Star Trek?
Did you like Deep Space Nine?
Do you like Roleplaying?
Do you like Mushes/Moo's?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then STAR TREK: ALTERNATE WORLDS MUSH is the place for you. For those of you who don't know. a Mush is a TEXT-Word that you connect to. You then ROLEPLAY online with others in a galaxy of thousands of BUILT rooms. so you walk into like a SHip's bridge etc. So no graphics, just Roleplaying and text.

The mush features a very advanced econ and space systems, as well as many systems like combat and things like that.

I am the DOMINION EMPIRE head. The Dominion was a *race* seen on Deep Space Nine for over 4 seasons. they are the enemies of the Federation etc. FOR INFO AND PICTURES OF THE DOMINION GO TO http://str.mushland.com/index.php?content=empire_dom.

The mush is very active. around 30+ people are on during Prime Times (Fridays, Sat, Sun) but there are still lots of people on during the week. Mushing is for people who love to roleplay..either online or even if you play RPG's with friends etc. The Dominion is a great empire, just we need more people so that we can continue our war with the Federation.

If you are interested please go to http://str.mushland.com/index.php . That is the mush website. You can find out info on HOW to connect, What MUSHING IS, What the current Theme is, etc.

If you have any questions please feel free to ask me (Qui'nn) once you connect, or e-mail me at QuinnM8472@aol.com Thank you.

P.S. I know this is a star wars site but I have been a massassi member since it's foundation on jedinights and know a lot of people here also like Roleplaying and star trek.

Were it not AU, and were the theme / backstory a bit better written and more convincing [it kinda seems really contrived, like summat made up by basement-dwelling teenagers mouthe-breathing about their leet idea {no offense}], and were i not fairly unimpressed with / haven't watched hardly much DS9 in general, then i might be inclined to check it out. I'm not sure really how impressed i am with what i read on the site at least. However i have kinda been wanting to find a decent ST Mu* at some point. Shrug.

Geez, who comes to a STAR WARS site asking for Trekkies? Don't you people know there's like a war going on here? [http://forums.massassi.net/html/redface.gif]

I used to like my Physics teacher, and then I found out he was a Trekkie... [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]

Heh, the Dominion wasn't a race any more than the Federation was. It was made up of the Founders, Jem'Hadar, Vorta, Karemma, etc..
A desperate disease requires a dangerous remedy.

A major source of objection to a free economy is precisely that it gives people what they want instead of what a particular group thinks they ought to want. Underlying most arguments against the free market is a lack of belief in freedom itself.

DS9 is like... boring.

He has scaled the mountains of ignorance; he is about to conquer the highest peak; as he pulls himself over the final rock, he is greeted by a band of theologians who have been sitting there for centuries."

I like Star Trek
I like Roleplaying
I'm interested in this
I'm too lazy to get involved in MUD's

... I'm sure I'm the only one here who agrees to all of the above.

I'm going to go out and do stuff, like besides work. Call up ben, hang out. Maybe see the last samurai, go skydiving, whatever.
Get back into the gym...
I want to do stuff that prevents me from playin video games so I can only play them a few hours a day, basically.
(Formally Veger, who died when he lost his e-mail adress, and his password. Veeger still looks for his old pass...)
