She's getting on a bit now at 9 years old, but I attribute it to her free-roaming nature - we've secured the garden and she can roam about outside there as well as our conservatory where she stays during the Winter months (because I'm out in the country, foxes are another concern, not to mention other neighbours' cats

Thinking about it, when it snows is the only easy time to see her really - being the beautiful (but awkward) colour she is, it means she's camoflaged in all the undergrowth in our garden
