I never knew…..I just never knew…….

Has anyone had any of his soup?

Is it any good?

Do you REALLY have to do the soup getting ritual like they did in the show? (See Rules)

Has anyone tried the soups to go at the grocery store?

This is all pretty cool, and really took my by surprise.

Most things in Seinfeld are based off real things. I walked past the Soup Kitchen when I was in NYC, but none of my friends wanted to go besides me. :( The RESTAURANT is near Columbia University I think.

MB, I think it's just the lighting.. If you look at the "actual photo" it integrates better.

And ragna haven't you ever seen Seinfeld?
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

Columbia is way up down (110th? ish..) ... The Soup Kitchen, according to the map, is only mid town. (around 50th)

I had his soup friday actually. New england chowder and another one of split pea with ham. It's good, yes, really good. Met my expectations... but then again, it isn't "wow, this is the best soup/food I've ever had and will ever have". Not worth a long wait in that line though.

Yes the rules apply, but in New York it isn't an oddity.

Also, the guy is psycohtic. Just look at his face under the "I set the standard".

i was never a big seinfield fan, but i know the soup nazi episode and I also know it's real. I remember seeing something on enterainment tonight with the cast behind the scenes, talking about how it's based off of a real man. lol that line is classic though "no soup for you!" lol i use it for diff. things. good stuff

you can't even see the "i set the standard" on the large picture.

You're looking at the "S" in Soup.
