Maybe a little biaed there? :p

Technically speaking, the explorers didn't have any weapons, so the Vikings would rape and pillage them to death.

the exploriens could probably poke the vikings to death with that long neon-yellow antenna thing....

The vikings would accidentally crush the little lego exploriens as they went around looking for things to rape and pillage.
The exploriens may take some small comfort in knowing they inflicted a little pain getting stuck in the foot of the occasional viking.

Ice Planet would storm through the battle and kill everything.

They use goddamn chainsaws. Chainsaws and jetskis.


And then you have the Deep Freeze Defender, which carries 2 mini-pods (armed with chainsaw and blaster), 2 heavy starfighters (which are mounted to the front in flight) and it carries one enormous missile which is launched from between the fighters. In addition to that, the missile launcher segment can split away from the cargo/pod segment making it a 7-piece weapon of doom. Behold:

I had one of the big Explorien sets that opened up to reveal a big laser cannon in the middle, and dropped a rover thing off the back

If it's a fair fight, then we must assume each side has an equal number of participants, and the weapons each side is allowed to use would be equally effective. This would mean the level of technology is irrelevant. It is obvious the Vikings would win.

I would interperate fair as each side using the best technology that they can develop. As such, the Explorians would pwn. Stupid vikings and their stupid brutish ways.

Dude, Ice Planet and the Explorer sets are old school to the maximum awesomeness. Holy cow, I haven't seen those sets in a long time *tear goes down cheek in memory of beloved legos*

I've got a couple large tackleboxes full of LEGOs, all categorized and seperated by type. Makes finding pieces a *lot* easier

Neither of them. We are talking lego here, so in effect if you chopped off a lego dude's limb, he can just steal someone elses. As for technology, who says you can't turn a viking boat into a flying war vessel?

New legos suck, they don't make any regular sets with huge stuff anymore. It's either crappy movie-based cheap sets or four hundred dollar "collector's" giant sets. :(
