Post your favorite kind of fruit to eat.

Mine:
On a day-to-day basis, it's bananas, hands down. However, when it comes to seasonal fruit, there are so many great fruit that it's hard to choose. All berries are very good, especially strawberries. Other good fruits include kiwis, pineapple, grapes, plums, and of course a variety of apples.

Howver, by far the two best kinds of fruit are kumquats and pomegranates. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find kumqauts last spring. Walmart stopped carrying them, and they weren't in any of the local grocery stores. However, it's been made up this fall with pomegranates. Walmart got a huge shipment of them just recently, and they're relatively cheap. <3 pomegranates.

I don't have a favorite, really. I like a good fruit salad though. I like the variety.

Grapes.

satsuma oranges. They taste like awesome.

Hmmm. Hard choice. We always keep a pretty good supply and variety of fruit. My fave is probably a Fuji Apple.
Ric, I like everything you mentioned except kumquats; never had one. Pomegranates taste fanstastic, but too much work and too many seeds.

I'd add ripe, fresh blueberries to the list too. <3

Asian pears! Asian pears! You have to get them at the right time of year because they are so mmmm-mmmmm good.

Green apples! I don't think a day goes by where I don't have at least a couple. Green apples = love.

The best fruit dish ever is a mix of strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, and anything else ending with 'berries' in a bowl and covered with Cointreau and freshly whipped cream.

If we're talking fruit to munch on then Pink Lady apples are the best, or a mango if the proper utensils are available. Actually a really well made mango smoothy is almost as good as a bowl of boozeberries.


Does anyone else here love bananas, but hate anything with banana flavouring in it? Or anything similar.

Oranges! I'm very, very addicted to oranges.

Red Grapes.

Perhaps grapes. Bananas I eat most of all fruits, though.

Bananas and watermelon.

Kiwis, plums, mangos, pomegranates, concord grapes, black cherries, watermelon, oregon-grown blueberries, strawberries, granny smith green apples, satsuma mandarin oranges, starfruit, lime, bananasananabanasa, and freshly picked boogers.

Bananas only good when they are perfectly ready. And then there awesome.

I vote pineapple though. Tastes like candy.

Granny Smith apples.

Or crab apples. My grandmother down the road grows 'em at her farm. Really awesome, can finish those in a few bites. Tiny and sour.

Mmmm...

No contest, Kiwi's and mango's(dried or regular). I love em.
