The material of the guard is similar to that of Bowling Ball Rubber

Suprisingly, every piece of Schrapnel missed us. Lucky eh?

Ok, I can't really take credit for this stupid thing... Cause this was my dad's.. But he did a lot more stupid things than me, so I'm finding inspiration.

As the story goes, my dad and a bunch of friends were enjoying a game of baseball when one of the guys suggested using a golf ball to see what would happen. My dad was standing out in the outfield, and the pitcher lobs the golf ball towards the batter, who of course puts a full swing into it. Keep in mind, golf balls are designed to utilize the maximum potential of a golf club, and are aerodynamic so they don't get stopped by the air. In short, they go fast and far. There was a loud crack, followed a few seconds later by a thud as the golf ball slammed into the side of a barn. Keep in mind the barn was on the far end of a field behind the baseball field. Basically, that golf ball went off like a cannon.

We used to play pork with a golf ball (dunno how americans call it but its that game were you're a bunch of kids and throw and tennis ball at a wall and try and catch it. If you catch it your fine, throw it back.If you drop it, you are eleminated (and we had to stand at the wall and let the last one who threw the ball throw it at us))

Now. When we only played with a golf ball for 5 minutes... 5 minutes too long. Someone lost some teeth. :s

Angry drunk, something that usually doesn't happen. I started yelling at and punching a friend, then I threw his cleats at his face. My housemates had to lock me in my room for the night.

I dunno what we call it either. When I was in gradeschool, we just played it, we didn't give it a name :D

Damn wall ball had so many variations when I was in elementary school. We had 'Survivor' where if you dropped the ball or failed to catch it you had to run and touch the wall before someone could peg you. If you got pegged you were out. We had 'Peg' which was kind of similar to 'Survivor' but no running for the wall and no one got out. Then we just had regular wall ball.
