Just wondering if we had any teachers here. I think it's weird that the same people who yell at you, and tell you to do this and that everyday, post on this board. I know Wolfy is a TA, so that counts. If your a teacher, sub, or even a school admin post, (and what you teach)!

Nup, Yoshi, never taught anything. Well, never professionally anyways ;)

Although I get the feeling that one of the other Aussies may well be a teacher...

To be technical, I'm not a TA - I'm a Peer Learning Assistant. I do everything that a TA does - grade assignments, teach labs, proctor exams, etc. - but, since I'm not a grad student, I can only be a PLA.

I teach Visual Basic.

Wow Seb, you must be raking in the cash, tutoring privately at that rate!

Eralc's a teacher, though last time I spoke to her she was asking about job sites, so I don't know if she's looking for a career change (maybe just a school change)

I mark assignments now at Uni,

maeve, remember PoG, Physics of Galaxies, I mark that now, its great I get paid ~ £10 per hour.

funny thing is it was one of the course's I hated the most when I did it, didn't help that the lecturer was about 2 weeks behind on the stuff we were meant to be doing for homework.

I may soon be teaching supplemental instruction sessions for physics here at school. Also, I'm going to see about possibly teaching a college math course (probably algebra or trig) next year.

I actually said that while TA'ing for a history class. The great thing is, the teacher (Mr. Mann for Freelancer, if you had him, you'll see why this was so awesome) looked at the class, waited a few seconds, and said "You heard Mr. [blank], you're fired!"

I was a music teacher for a cadet corps fanfare for 2 years.

I also tutored mentally challenged children quite a while back for a year or so.

I remember a few years ago we had someone named Jenny (not to be confused with the one that does 3do modeling) who said she was a 26 year old english teacher in england. She kept calling me "SavageSEX" though and was apparently a big fan of my old Jedi Knight levels (particular the RotE series).

Raynar I think was the aussie teacher.

When was this Cloud-Teacher business anyway? I joined massassi in mid-2002 and the Cloud-teacher jokes were well and truely underway by then.
