Picard. He just seems more mature and responsible than kirk. He's a great diplomat, and even when things go wrong, he knows how to handle himself in a battle. Seems like kirk is constantly defying orders, screwing up, and getting into fights.

Kirk - he is just funny. Picard is bald, and not funny.

And in the movie where somekind of freak that wants to get in somekind of rift to get in the perfect world (and is blowing up a whole planet for that) kirk sacrifice itself for Jean luc picard

Kirk makes love to green people... and allows free love and hippies on the enterpize.

Picard is cool though... plus his missle launcher is bigger.

I agree with SavageX... and Picard can travel faster in his Enterprise, since his head is much more streamlined and aerodynamic, allowing for much higher crusing speeds.

Picard and Riker are Kirk split into two people -- Picard is the leader, Kirk gets all the girls.

However, Kirk doesn't have a cool techno song, and his special effects really suck. I vote for Picard.

Picard 0wnz. Plus, unlike Kirk, he doesn't need a few dozen plastic surgeries to hold him together.

The only thing Kirk's got going for him is Spock and a broader fanbase.

Kirk or Picard for... what? You don't specify at all. I can only assume that you are asking... who's the better singer?

Well, since you asked, I think the better Singer is obviously Kirk. Don't believe me? Go listen to "Rocket Man" or "I want to sex you up".

JLP IN THE HIZZOUSE!

err..

Piccard is way cooler. For one, he has an accent, which is absolutely necessary for any great Captain of the Enterprise.

For two, he has a cooler ship that can seperate itself and such.

For three he has continued being a good actor in other films, where as william shatner always speaks like kirk. always.

So JLP > JTK

Worf? Worf would have a chance, albiet SLIM, of being beaten. Send in Data. He's several times stronger, faster, and smarter than Worf.

To answer the question... Picard. Becuase Picard knows Q. And we all know Q owns any other character EVER.

The first time I saw that movie, that scene actually made me jump. I'd never seen him that pissed off before. Very much unlike his character. It was a DAMN good scene.
