Oh...my...god.

I blew up over GTA:LCS...the fully interactive amazing World of Liberty City, 50-100 estimated of hours of gameplay, and multiplayer, all on a handheld system...which is a fantastic feat.

but this... is AMAZING.

Socom Fireteam Bravo for Sony PSP, remeniscent, I've read, of the other SoCOM games. It strikes me as alot like the Rainbow 6/Rogue Spear games (original, not hte new crap).

Anyway, what's so fantastic about this is the fully supported wireless ONLINE MULTIPLAYER for up to 16 players, with a 20 dollar microphone headset so you can talk online while you play.

This game is setting new boundaries. I can walk into a jack in the box or coffeshop and connect to a free wireless internet and start playing a 16 max player game... ON A HANDHELD.

OMG.

The game is pretty good too. I haven't played the SP much yes, just part of the first levle, but it's very descent. IGN gave it an 8.3, some other review I read gave it a 9.0. This game is fantastic.

THoughts?
Opinions?
Anyone else get this game?

I had the beta (w00 go me), and if its ANYTHING like the beta:

DO NOT GET IT OMFG *explosion*.

Damn near impossible to see other players, aiming's hard as hell (Even with aiming system), colors are bland, controls are difficult, internet is laggy, and whoever has the sniper rifle and a decent camping spot first wins.

There are no words to describe how much relief I felt in knowing that I did not have to pay for such crap.

I've been playing for 2-3 hours.

Everyone who has the microphone who I've talked to says they love it, and hte game is awesome. The microphone recently came out, so I"m guessing you didn't have that CM?

It enhances the gameplay by a factor of 10 ( I played a round or two before I bought hte mic later tonight)

Long load times - yeah... but so were similar games like Rainbow 6 etc.

Controls difficult - at first

Lag - not at all (but oyu need a descent connection... just like the real internet world)... don't play on crappy college networks that are crowded, etc. Seriously, it's extremely good latency for 16 people.

in terms of the sniper rifle issue... I haven't had that problem at all. People with sniper rifles usually get ganked faster, which IMO is a good thing.
