I was at the gym showering after a vigorous game of racquetball... As I was drying myself off, one of the gym trainers came in with a bunch of new members and was giving them a tour. He's pointing out various things to the new members. "Over here are the lockers, that exit leads to the swimming pool..." and the members are of course checking out the things he's pointing out. Anyway, he points over to where I'm standing naked, toweling myself off and says "Over there are the showers." Everyone looks over at me and my naked body. Felt like I was in a zoo or something. It was weird.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

well I wasn't embarressed or anything.. I'm relatively comfortable being naked, even with other people around... It was just kind of an odd experience.

On Wednesday eight of us had a post-it note war and walked around covered in post-it notes all day. Does that count?

I remember Being a high school stdent witnessing Gr.8 orientation in vivid detail...

*a group of grade 8 students cautiously come into the art class and stay at the empty end*
Teacher: You can come closer, the students won't bite...
Me: *raises hand* Um... I might Miss Austin...
Teacher: Okay... Stay away from Mary then.
Me: *smiles at Gr.8s*

I hate when I can't be sweet to the one I care about without having everyone in the school stare at us and 'awwe.'

I went for an interview at this deli once. It was the middle of the week, quite early, so the place was pretty empty (only one customer I think, a couple of staff sitting at tables). The place was laid out with the counter at the back of the shop, then about 6 rows of three tables, with a glass front... ah heck, I'll just ps it!

So yeah, the boss guy has told me to fill out the application form, so I went and sat down the front where it was nice and light. After a few minutes, I notice that *everyone* is staring at me. Not that many people, but the effect (especially as all the guys bustling about behind the counter have stopped to stare as well) was seriously unnerving. For a couple of minutes, I just concentrate on the form and try to ignore them, but I'm getting really flustered by this point. Then I hear, a little way away outside, the sound of someone ringing a bell so I turn around to see if I can see where it's coming from.

Of course, I forgot (being the unpatriotic swine that I am) that it was the Queen's Golden Jubilee that day and there had been a parade going by behind me the whole time.

I know what you mean... I probably wouldn't have been creeped out by the tour group through the gym though, even if I was chillin' around naked, I have better things to worry about than people gawking at my wang.

But, every time I'm onstage or people find out I'm in my band I feel like I'm just a showpiece.
