I was playing a jk coop game with froggy using that Jedi Knight Advanced beta blah blah mod (which has never had any problems before), and it started out fine ..

THEN when baron's head loaded, half the textures were dflt

To make it weirder, halfway through the level, kyle simply disappeared. I couldn't see him in 3rd person, and froggy couldn't see him either. I could still fire / hit stuff with my saber though, so froggy kept running into me and dying

:confused: anyone have an idea as to why?

So...are the horrible texture alignments from the glitch or is that how they regularly look (been awhile)

Looks like a resource overflow issue. Sometimes with certain mods, the game doesn't load all the resources it needs to run both the level and the mod properly so some stuff simply doesn't show up. A custom static.jkl is supposed to resolve this for mods that use new content since it forces the game to allocate some space for both the new content of the mod and the current level loaded. This problem happened a LOT with my SS3/FR mod when people tried to play the mod in custom levels. Usuallly this doesn't happen with the LEC levels because all the resources their levels need are properly allocated in their JKL file therefore they have enough room for the extra resourcse that a mod would use. However, I'm guessing in the OP's case is that the mod must have used soooo much more content that it overflowed both the LEC levels and the mod's resources causing some resources to not to load. I'm not sure I'm 100% positive of what I'm saying but that is what I've concluded after all my beta testings with the mods I use to make back-in-the-day.
