An opinion isn't this magical barrier that prevents you from being wrong, and does not serve to automatically strengthen any argument. An opinion afterall can be baseless, and often many peoples' opinions are.

I'm just talking aout simple opinions. When coming to killing everyone, it's definatly not right. But if it comes to a video game console or it's quality, it's pure taste and opinion. Like he said: You hate the voice acting in MGS:TTS and he doesn't. Just leave it at that and try not to force him into thinking the same as yoshi.

Except that I'm right, as there are skill levels to voice acting. If there weren't, everyone would always listen to English dubs of Japanese anime (even though most Japanese VAs are as bad as the english ones, you can't understand them so I guess that makes it better?) and people would be paid the same no matter their skill level.

You can't be right. He thinks the voice acting in a game was good, you can't tell him he's wrong although you can disagree with him.

Then that would be fine, because your tastes are different from my tastes. It's when you say you're right that I have a problem with it, because opinions of taste fairly obviously can't be right.

Pokemon.. I haven't seen it in ages but I know most anime shows I like have bad dialogue. I just ignore it. Alot of voice actors in those suck, as well... I can probably do 10 times better..

As for keanu reaves, I love the guy. He's just plain awesome.

It is only in the sense that there is no 'best' artist. However, no one can prove you wrong because it is an opinion of taste. To some random dude in India, your art could be his favorite art he's ever seen. Give it up Yoshi.

Keep in mind the world doesn't revolve around you and that not everyone agrees with you, and there always was, and always will be someone who doesn't agree with you. And theres nothing you can do. So like Freelancer said, give it up.

We're not talking about best, we're talking about technical skill. I have nowhere near the amount of technical skill of any other artist (though yes, art is interpretation, if you don't have skill it doesn't matter how much interpretation there is to the piece). So...wait, why would I be giving it up again? Oh, that's right, I won't, because you're wrong.
