Need some opinions on christmas present... (PSP owners)

I have a choice of 512MB of RAM and a cheapy MP3 player, or a PSP with a game and memory thingie.

Some questions I have about the PSP...

1. What game should I get? (I'm thinking Lumines)

2. How much are memory sticks?

3. How would I go about putting MP3s and emulators on the thing? (Or does it come with info on how to do these things)

4. What do I need to browse the internet?

5. Does it come with headphones?

That's about it... If there's any misc info I should know, it'd be great if someone could tell me. Care tips, etc.

Or, if I should just get the RAM and Mp3 player, tell me that I'm dumb for thinking about a PSP and laugh at me.

1) Lumines or GTA:LCS
2) www.pricegrabber.com
3) www.psphacker.com
4) firmware comes with a browser--if you downgrade to 1.50, you need Wipeout Pure
5) yes, but they suck

The PSP is amazing, listening to music is awesome, and honestly I don't regret spending a single penny on it. It's currently, next to my home computer and laptop, my most used peripheral. Hell, I use it more than I watch TV.

Enjoy.

Is psphacker for both MP3s and emulators, or does the PSP come with say, a USB adaptor and some software to transfer MP3s over?

You need to get the cable yourself, 10-15 bucks at my local radio shack, you probably have one floating around already if you own a digicam, and it's probably cheaper elsewhere.

PSPhacker is just a site detailing what to do, how to do it, etc.

I'll contact you on MSN or something if I get it and have any more questions. Thanks :)
