it knocked over thousands of dominos. I noticed they said thousands, not hundreds of thousands or even tens of thousands, and definatly not a fraction ofa million, so it can be assumed that they were just starting. This would probably be another reason why it was so outrageous. after all, the world record is 3847295 toppled out of 4 million as a group, and 303621 out of 303628. and seeing as it was an exhibition hall, it was probably set up for a group attempt.

I could see someone wanting to shoot it if they had say, over 500000 set up, but in the low thousands is hardly a problem. Especialy since noone in their right mind would spend money on hireing a hall but not getting insurance (insured for time) against something happening.

anyway, post your comments, or other unusuyal news stories.

It's a bird! It's a plane! It's the end of my life's work as a fool setting up thousands upon thousands of dominos!

It would have been cooler if they'd shot it down and THEN it landed on the dominoes.

So a sparrow got shot. What about all the innocent dominoes that fell on that mournful day? :gbk:

Doesn't this set a new world record already? The sparrow that knocked over the most dominoes ever?

They should stuff the sparrow and place it at the end of the line so that the last domino piece to fall would knock down the stuffed sparrow. That would be a nice metaphor.

They had a lot more dominoes set up, they just had a bunch of safety walls put in until they were ready to set it off. It had the potential of knocking down a whole lot more.
