Cupping your hand and pointing it at someone is called "throwing cock." It's usually a gesture of challenge.


Holding your arm up and waving your hand at somebody from the wrist is equivalent to giving props.



Clamping your forearms or elbows together is a "chomp" sign, which indicates a bite, which means that someone stole something original that you came up with.

I saw a website that listed like a bazillion gang signs.

The "Crips" sign is pretty straightforward, and also apparently \m/ also means "LA Brims" if you do it palm-inward. And stuff.
