where I can find a copy of this? I got nostalgic and wanted to play Rebellion, but the isntallation won't work. The guy's not on IRC atm, so I'm wondering if there's an http download somewhere... or if someone else has it...

(if the legality of this is in question I apologize)

hmm, actually I think I may have figured out how to do it without that installer.

So to keep this active, post your SW Rebellion nostaligia.

I haven't had any problems with installing the game with Windows 2000/XP.

However, it's still a great game in my opinion no matter what JonĀ“C says. It's also really addicting, which is why I usually make these megalomaniac campaigns once a year to conquer all of the galaxy. Haven't done it this year though...

Heh, the game is fairly easy, because as soon as you've got the deathstar and a huge fleet you can fly from planet to planet and blow them up until the rebel scum has no place to hide anymore.
I once began my rampage by blowing up Coruscant - while it was still in my hands.

Best Rebellion moment ever - The Empire attacked my friend with 3 light cruisers; the Lion, the Tiger, and the Bear, in that order. Lions and tigers and bears, oh my!

Was it countered by a Lion Witch and a Wardrobe?

I remember totally owning everything in that game as the imperials. Death star smeath star. Tie Defenders ftw

Sometimes I play as Alliance in the mode, where you've only got to destroy the HQ and send all of my ships at the beginning to Sesswana and then attack Corsucant.
This worked one or two times...
