I signed up for the fileplanet 10 day trial, and downloaded the stupid client twice and it's been corrupted both times. Is there a torrent or non-fileplanet site?

You can legally download the client anywhere--since you need an account to play, I'm sure they aren't worried about it. I'd let you use my trial, but I haven't even registered my account yet :p

I know but I haven't been able to find the client anywhere except fileplanet. I just need a link, tried googling. (I already got a trial key from fileplanet)

The funny thing about the public test servers is that you don't need to have an active account to play on them. My account is currently deactivated yet I was able to copy my paladin over to the PvE test server and play essentially for free with no limits, hehe.

Well duh. I only mentioned the PTR because I'm subtlely bragging that I'm playing the game for free with no limits like those in the trial. :p

Edit: nevermind, I think i found it.

I've tried to download from file planet and 3D gamers and got this bad portal error thing at both places.

Can anyone who successfully downloaded the client post a list of the files? I think that the only file I'm missing from them is the setup.exe and if that's the cause could I get someone to send it to me? PLEASE? I don't want to download 3 gigs for a 5th time.

Just making sure we're on the same page, PTR means "public test realm". Blizzard sets the PTR up to allow players to test the upcoming patch before the patch goes live. The PTR usually lasts about 1-3 weeks, depending on how soon Blizzard fixes any errors or exploits that are found on the PTR.
