I'm stuck where you have to get the 3 buttons in the ceiling after the first room. Someone said you need to confuse enemies first, then hit them up... if this is the strategy, how exactly do you "confuse" your enemy so they have a "?" mark?

Any tips?

I never got 2, because I still can't beat 1. I am stuck at the part in 1 where you have to kill all the old endbosses again at once.

if its anything like the first game, to do that, to do that, you need to dodge their blows (if they are gonna hit your upper body, dodge low, if they go to hit your lower body, hit up and do a kinda jump/dodge thing).

wait... seriously? you just dodge then jump?
I hate it when things are simple.

And when it comes to the part where you re-play all the bosses, that took me a good 2-3 weeks of nonstop playing, then quitting the game for about 2-3 months, and picking it back up, then playing 3 more days to beat. Luckily, after you kill the first 4, it saves at the 5th boss as long as you don't turn off the system.

VJ2 solves this problem by letting you save after every boss. (yes, you have to re-play bosses in VJ2 as well)

Best of luck. Practice makes perfect. Try not turning off the system, saving up points and buying lots of hearts. Also the "Take 2s" will help.

no, you just wait for the enemies skull and crossbones appear.

if they appear low, push up on the d-pad.

if they appear high, push down on the d-pad.

it stuns/confuses the enemies for a while. (when you go into slow mode and beat them up in this state, your combat multiplier increases).

just remember... this is a person who played the first game a month or two ago, the things i told you may be completely wrong.

THe first game has essentially the same mechanics of gameplay as the second.

I actually just picked up this game on friday (the local Game Crazy had a sale, buy one get one free on new games under $18.99). I'm havgin plent of fun with it, although I'm not too far into it.

Play the first one first I"d say, it has slightly more thematic flair to it. Either way, they're both fun.

I just picked up the second one. Since I just got it on friday, I'm only to the first boss right now.
