If you guys like this, I highly recomend you invest in SA forum memberships... there are a million other cool projects like this that are a product of the SA community. Don't just mooch off of the stuff that you have access to without paying.

I hope they play the Breaking Benjamin - So Cold HL2 music video; they seem to be doing a lot of other HL2 stuff (the rap one with the car on hydraulics using the gravity gun was priceless).

Also, the "funny cats" video was the most hilarious thing I've ever seen.

A really good friend (LordRanedor) is a mod on GBStv.
He convinced me to register and I plan on registering on the forums when I get back to the states.
It´s really great.

Why would I want to pay to make things that other people then get free?

Why a human being would pay for forum registration is beyond me. Does it make you a better person? Enlarge your penis? Make you money? I doubt it's a worthwhile use of 10 dollars.

They charge money because the community is so huge, the bandwidth costs are often 2000 dollars a month or more. That's basically the only reason. And no, it doesn't make you a better person... but I know I've gotten more enjoyment out of my 10 dollars (actually GoY's 10 dollars, it was a birthday gift :)) than I ever will from any single movie I pay 10 dollars to see in the theatre.

Seriously, if you can justify spending 10 bucks to see Star Wars opening night, or any other movie for that matter, then don't knock those who can justify spending 10 bucks to join an internet forum that not only provides endless entertainment, but has many other benefits for being a member of the community. GBStv wouldnt exist at all if no one had been able to justify 10 dollars to join the SA forums.

Yes it does, and those that waste the money to create accounts just to troll/spam get banned very quickly.

Quite untrue. The $10 for SA is well worth it. And like DS said, trolls are virtually non-existant and SA keeps the :10bux: I've spent many times laughing to tears on SA. And there's a lot more to SA forums than GBS. I post often in TVIV and SAS when my Chargers are screwing up plays. Just don't post in FYAD. SA stresses to lurk around the forums for a while before joining/posting. And besides, you get great emoticons like

Oh, the people there are good people. Example: SA raised some $20K for hurricane relief in a matter of HOURS...before PayPal decided to be morons. I'm sure some of you have heard of that.
