I talked about this in the chat, and no one had heard of it before:

Beards or facial hair in general being called a "Chew." My question is how "Chew" would be spelled. Chue? I don't know.

I figure it's something like Pop and Soda, and only people around here call them chews... because EVERYONE does.

Disregarding the fact that this is midget propaganda, wouldn't "chew" and "chue" be pronounced essentially identically? I can't think of a different way you would pronounce them...

it's a foo or a chu. it's usually bikers that have their mustaches that go down past their mouths to their chins. it's been a term for 20 years as i've known it.

I think Evad's probably got it right. Not slang for facial hair in general, but for a particular type of mustache.
