What do you have, and what do they do?

GMail Notifier - self-explanatory
Forecastfox - Weather forecasting
downTHEMALL - downloads all links on the page
MagPie - open a bunch of things in tabs and save all their contents
Scrapbook - save little bits of web pages
Launchy - open links in other browsers
ShowIP - shows the IP of any page you're currently viewing
SpoofStick - resolves the IP of the page you're on to ensure that you're on the site you think you are.
the idiot is the person who follows the idiot and your not following me your insulting me your following the path of a idiot so that makes you the idiot - LC Tusken

Adblock 0.5.2.055 (google for this version, not the one on Mozilla's site) - First extention you need to install.
Blockfall- Tetris. 'Nuff said.
Cutemenus 2 - Puts icons on most standard menu items.
Delicious Delicacies - Cookies are delicious delicacies.
downTHEMall! - Found it useful once when I had 100 links I wanted to download at once.
FasterFox - Turbocharges Firefox's file transfering, upping limits on transfers.
Favicon Picker - Lets you fix broken icons in favorites.
FirefoxView - Installs an IE extention "View in Firefox" context menu item. :)
Google Toolbar For Firefox - http://toolbar.google.com/firefox/ - I like the Google Toolbar. To each his own, though.
Greasemonkey - Great concept, I have yet to make any scripts for it (or find any useful ones, any suggestions?)
IE Tab - Allows embeding of an IE window in a tab for IE browsing through Firefox for selective sites, ie Windows Update. Needs a bit of tweaking though.
Menu Editor - Very useful. You can move menu items, and hide/show them, so useless extention items you couldn't hide are now hidable, not to mention normal menu options. Also allows for hiding of Go, Edit, Help, etc.
Mines - This > winmine.exe ^ 2
Nightly Tester Tools - Force any extention to install regardless of it's Firefox version compatability.
Nuke Anything - Fun. Get R.I.P. for permanent changes.
Opera View - Like IE View but.... for Opera! I use this to test my webpage designs.
RadialContext - I don't use it anymore but it's nicer looking and faster than the menu once you get used to it.
Remove It Permanently - Takes care of the few things AdBlock can't handle.
ScrapBook - Save and manage HTML snippets. I should use this more often... useful if you want to save a piece of text, and you don't have to File SaveAs and then go hunting later.
Screen Grab! - Haven't tried it, but it should allow you to take a screenshot of a webpage (ie the whole thing, it'll scroll around and piece it together).
Scribe - Useful for the ISB. ;) Adds some save/open features to forms.
Show Image - The usefullness-to-profile ratio of this is through the roof... that is, it's useful when my freaking proxy breaks some images and makes it so I don't have to reload the whole page.
SmoothWheel - A bit better than the standard wheel mouse scrolling.
Sort Extentions - I hate Slim Extention's "slim" mode, so this is nice. The sorting is freaking slow though.
Tab Thumbnail Preview - Emulates a forthcoming IE7 feature. It's not as accessable as it should be tho.
Tabs Menu - Adds a menu with all your tabs, sorta like a Window menu for tabs.
Tiny Menu - Basically Compact Menu for 1.5. Frees up a bit of toolbar real estate on your menu bar.
User Agent Switcher - For those few sites that still think Firefox is a failure, all hail King IE, blah blah.
View Formatted Source - Tidy up View Source. Makes it easier to browse source code.
Web Developer - Toolbar that greatly helps with HTML editing.

2005-11-28, 4:21 PM #4
CustomizeGoogle - does stuff like remove ads, add links to other pages, add Suggest, etc
Adblock - latest public version, haven't been arsed to get the other one
Forecast Fox
IE View - actually opens IE instead, should probably get the other one
PDF Download - opens PDFs in tabs
Bandwidth Tester - <= read
Firesomething - changes "FireFox" to random words built from lists (current window is ThunderTiger)
Nuke Anything
Windows Update - adds to Tools menu (I think it opens in IE)
Disable Targets for Downloads - prevents opening blank pages for a d/l, hit and miss
Mouse Gestures - read
Linkification - makes plain-text links into hyperlinks

I have greasemonkey installed, but it doesnt work with 1.5rc3 :(

I tried reverting to an older version of firefox (non beta) but it wouldnt install properly.

My extensions:

Searchbar autosizer- Expands the little search thing at the top depending on the length of what you type

BugMeNot - Awesome extention. Fills out an email and password so you can read websites like New York Times without having to bother to register for free for yourself

Web Developer - Really handy if you design pages, or like to be nosey at code, or to just plain disable a websites style sheet

Adblock

Greasemonkey

Gmail notifier

and Nightly Tester Tools (forces compatability)

ZZT- Go here for good greasemonkey scripts: http://www.userscripts.org/

I just have one extension, SALR. Which is the Something Awful Last Read extension. Basically it's a really nifty extension that makes browsing SA much better.
Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

I strongly recommend Platypus. It's kind of a live web page editor with a GUI for creating Greasemonkey scripts.

Others:
BugMeNot
Customize Google
Adblock
Disable Targets for Downloads
SALR
and a couple new ones from this thread

MBeggar: Have you tried the Greasemonkey beta? I'm still using beta 1, but I'd assume it'll work with RC3 too.
2005-11-28, 9:24 PM #15
Couldn't get Platypus to save changes to Bash :(

Nah Ictus, i just opted to revert to the regular release of Firefox. Ill wait for greasemonkey to work with the beta, or for the beta to become 1.5 before i upgrade :p

StumbleUpon is the win. Great boredom killer. Also great for a quick favorites menu. Whenever I come across a site I want to save for future reference, I make sure to add it to my StumbleUpon favorites.

So I added some extensions after viewing some of your guys'. I like them all so far. Here's what I got. I found a good extension that allows me to quickly look up important DNS crap. Useful for the admins here.

Yes, My Firefox is in French. I find it useful to have programs in languages other than English so that people who happen to use my computer have no clue what everything says and WON'T USE MY COMPUTER...ahem. :D

What he hell...why is [img] tags parsing to hyperlinks?

Ah screw it, I'll attach. Should have done that in the first place. :S[/img]

GreaseMonkey's commonly used on deviantART, for some little extra buttons, which is quite useful.
