And post how your desktop feels. I eliminated the task-bar and menu-bar (both are obsolete features). Instead, I use right click for my apps, (see screen), middle click to view / switch workstations, and I allow the mouse to switch workstations by dragging it off to the side. I also use lazy focus (just moving the mouse over a window selects it) If anybody is wondering what "Gorilla" is, it is a supurb GTK2 theme. Screenshots

The end result is a much simpler and more relaxed feeling without the extra clutter. As many of you know, I am a minimalist who hates clutter found in KDE and PERL and appreciates elegance and simplicity found in XFCE4 and Python. (Hehe, sorry GBK, no cheap-shot intended, just poking fun here
