everyone seems to have problems with windows. what exactly are those problems because the only major problems i have ever had with my computer where with the hardware not working or other programs not working with my computer. i have not seen any reason that windows is a bad OS for a home computer.

I got a virus and before I could clean it the damage was done. I scanned Jenn's computer and she had 5. I can't find my Win2K disc. [http://forums.massassi.net/html/frown.gif]
There are no virus' in Linux right now so I'll use it until I need to use Windows for something.

i doubt there are no viruses n linux. all you would need to do would be to infect a download that linux users usualy get. Also, all you need to avoid viruses on windows is a GOOD anti-virus program. not an open source. open source cannot be rellied upon to always be up to date as people work on it in there own time and they probably have a job. while the anti-virus software you pay for is worked on by people who do that for thier work. Since they need to be paid for their work, you need to pay for the software, this keeps them happy and productive and keeps the software up to date.[/bumprant]
