It seems that John Woo will be making a Rainbow Six movie for his next project. I loved the book and I've always thought it could make an awesome movie.

Could probablys do them all on the same set for as much as it matters, as long as theres plenty of shooting i'll be happy for a John Woo movie (The Killer was his best IMHO).

Hard Boiled and The Killer are by far Woo's best.

Rainbow 6 would probably be better with a serious action director at the helm, instead of the stylised crap Woo has been churning out recently. If it's done well it could be an awesome movie. The action scenes in R6 are probably the best I've ever read.

Spork is right here. They are definately some of the best action scenes ever.

And I'm assuimg that Liev what's his name will be taking the role of Clark, like he did in the Sum of All Fears.

But I'm betting Woo could do it well, if he did it in a Windtalkers sort of way. This movie needs to be long. It needs to be violent. And it does need that certain degree of style. And more than anything, it needs for Tom Clancy to get his balls back and produce an R rated movie.
