Heres the story:
My WoW subscription ended on November 29th, and pissed me off since I don't have the money to even buy a game card because of a dumbass situation I put myself in. Anyways, I ask my loving mother if I could use her credit card to purchase a 1 month subscription as a small early birthday gift. She agrees and I'm off to download the lastest patch and update my account.
10 mins later, my mom comes to me and says that my dad wants me to cancel the subscription... I reluctantly agree and phone Blizzard to cancel. I ask why he wanted me to cancel and she said it was because he didn't want her card # stolen. I couldn't believe it! Both my parents have purchased many things online and even use online banking. I told my mom that this isn't just some random website that isn't secure, and that game is played by millions of people. She understands, but she said even if I showed my dad that is it a 100% secure site, he'd still say, "I don't care, cancel it." Now they will be billed 14 dollars for nothing. Great thinking dad, logic rules.
Post times where your parents, or parent threw logic out the door and welcomed idiocy.
