Those seem like low requirements but you should NEVER trust minimum requirements as they are always misleading. The RECOMMENDED requirements are what you should trust. When they don't list the recommend, just take the minimum and times it by 2 and you'll get the REAL requirements. Just thought I say that if you have a low end PC and thinking "Woohoo!" as you read the above and found out that you system is lagging like hell when you get to play it.

Well, it is a "WIP" game so that is expected. I only played the training part and quit because I didn't like the fact that you couldn't change the controls. I prefer inverted mouse, dammit!

However... it is built on the Unreal engine so you could always tweak the ini files to make your own controls and maybe increase the resolution as well. However, I have to reinstall unreal tournament again to figure out the joystick input names first.

BTW, I figured out how to hack the ini files to alter the settings. If you want to have an inverted mouse, copy and paste this into the user.ini file found in the /system folder:

Quote:
<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">
[Engine.PlayerInput]
bInvertMouse=true
MouseSmoothingMode=1
MouseSmoothingStrength=1.000000
MouseSensitivity=8.000000
MouseSamplingTime=0.008333
MouseAccelThreshold=0.000000
DoubleClickTime=0.300000
bEnableDodging=True
</font>

You can alter the sensitvity as well from that too.

If you want to change the resolution, alter the lines below in the webhead.ini:

Quote:
<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">
[WinDrv.WindowsClient]
WindowedViewportX=800
WindowedViewportY=600
FullscreenViewportX=800
FullscreenViewportY=600
MenuViewportX=800
MenuViewportY=600
</font>

...and...

Quote:
<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">
[SDLDrv.SDLClient]
WindowedViewportX=800
WindowedViewportY=600
FullscreenViewportX=800
FullscreenViewportY=600
MenuViewportX=800
MenuViewportY=600
</font>

those system requirements seem right to me, I don't have the best computer ever, but it runs great on mine.

I was honestly expecting more... it was boring... combat sucked horrbily and it took me forever to figure out the right place to make rino run into, and when i died trying to fight him, it restarted the whole damn lvl.

you can only swing from so many buildings, the "find 50 red coins" thing at the end... it was interesting for the first 5 min since i had to acualy look for the coins and got to explore the city as it was so far... but then it got super boring and then just ended... it should have let you explore the city more on your own.

Lets just hope that in the full game they have a better combat system and being able to wrap baddies up in webbing and stuff, i miss the old combat and web tricks from the old playstation 1 games.

Why does a downloadable demo need at least a Quad-speed CD-ROM drive, or a CD-ROM drive at all, for that matter?

I think it's cause someone just ripped the stuff off a CD and threw it into a zip drive, perhaps a demo for a magazine or something and they released it, cause I don't think the offical site released a demo, also the zip does contain autorun files which are suppose to auto run the launcher when you put the disc in...

The demo is a VERY old build, just take a look at the trailer, it looks far superior.

I thought demos were suppose to make people want to play the retail. The only thing this demo has successfully done is made me waste weekly bandwidth.

This demo is just shoving that was shoved on a free DVD that comes with the version of the Spiderman DVD that's currently on save. All it is is a DVD is a cardboard wallet which has a bunch of Spiderman 2 stuff on it. It's not meant to be the "official" demo.

Whatever the case is, the demo does NOT do it's job well. When I played the demo, I thought "WTF... the first movie game was so much better. Aren't sequels supposed to IMPROVE from the first game?". If this is indeed an old demo not showing off the true game, then they failed miserable.
