Ale.

Anyone else drink Bass? I'm totally hooked on this stuff. Up until Bass, I had never liked a single beer I tried, but this stuff is excellent! I just drank one in the shower and am drinking one now! Anyway, I guess we could turn this into a 'Post your favorite beer' thread.

It just doesnt taste bad. I've tried Keystone, Budlight, etc and all of those are just nasty tasting beers in general. Bass just tastes really good. I'm not saying I've tried every single beer, but up until this point it's the only good tasting beer that I've found. My co-worker is the one who suggested it because it's one of his favorite beers.

There's your problem right there. Keystone and Bud Light are crap beers, as is every beer that comes from an American macrobrewery.

I recommend the following:
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer
Fat Tire
Red Stripe
Killians
Michelob Honey Lager
Blue Moon

I can't say more than that because those are the only good ones I've tried. There are many other fine, very flavorful beers out there. Investigate any local microbreweries, they usually have some pretty good beer.

Now we're talking.

You, sirs, have taste.

Czech beer and Belgian beer = Best in the World

Staropramen is my favourite Czech, as for my favourite Belgians:

All Beer/Ale/Cider etc SUCKS!

Really, Beer is awful. Tastes like Bubbely urine.

If you wanna drink something nice and get drunk, alternate between shots of vodka/Tequila and coca cola seperately. ANd top it off with some Vodka red bull.

That leads us to the next question; how would YOU know what bubbely urine tastes like?

Given that I hate all beer i've tried based on its fundamental lack of a nice flavour, are there any beers that actually taste nothing like this and might be drinkable?

Well, girls tend to like:
Two Dogs (Australian lemon-tinged beer)
A. Le Coq

Or they just stick to sickeningly teeth-rottingly sweet cider or alternatively Bacardi mixers.

Try the Pilsner Urquell. It has a nice flavour.

I don't like sweet ciders like strongbow, I like things I can conceivably drink quickly without having to ignore the flavour.

smirnoff ice and that kinda stuff, although the alcohol content is so low you could down 15 of those and not nearly be drunk

American beers usually suck, but there a few I find... interesting for lack of a better word. Anchor Steam and Brooklyn Lager are two I drink quite often. Red Stripe is okay as well.

When I was a drinking man, I actually liked Miller Genuine Draught. (Draft sounds funny)

Honey Brown Lager was good too, as was Red Stripe, and Red Dog. Smirnoff Ice mixed with Mt. Dew == Drinkly goodness, as does it when you mix it with Bawls.

Jager bombs are teh evil, but tastey goodness too,...

But beer as beer goes, I'm a fan of Sam Adams and Red Stripe... Good stuff.

The alcohol content is only slightly less than beer. I don't drink them because i'd rather not have the combination of a caffeine and sugar high along with drunkenness.
