I liked the 2nd one better, but I can see why most prefer #1. 1 was more like the show while 2 was more a typical blockbuster action movie. However, I am a sucker for those

So will M:I 3 actually have Tom Cruise working with a *gasp* TEAM? It was the whole team aspect that was supposed to set M:I apart from the rest of the spy stuff :-p

I liked the original better, even though I never watched the show. The second one seemed like an excuse for a movie...

Let's have some middle-easternish terrorists and have em make a virus, then have the hero save the world!
That's an over-cooked plot line.

Although the action scenes in MI2 are definately worth re-watching. They're the only real reason to watch the movie. I wasn't remotely shocked with all the face changing. IE: I knew that one guy wasn't tom cruise as soon as he was brought into the room. I guessed it before they talked to him, before they shot him, and before they took the mask off. When the finally did all of that, I was like "Why am I watching this"

Then a cool motorcycle chase...
And I was like "oh that was cool"

Godfather 3 wasn't a bad movie, but when comparing it to the first two movies, which were just amazing films, it doesn't stand up.

I'll see it for Philip Seymour Hoffman, he's one of the most underrated actors alongside Paul Giamatti.
