Well?

I think the Eagle would win, since its got a beak and claws to attack with, and when it comes to right hooks, a T-Rex has crappy arms.

Giant eagle, for the same reason that tofu posted. And if you doubt that, just look at how badly Iraq was hurt in the air war of operation desert storm. :p

Giant eagle, for the same reason a velociraptor can take down a t-rex. Speed; also the ability to fly doesn't hurt.

But ONLY because this is completely hypothetical. T-rexes existed, giant eagles never did. So if this were real life, a t-rex would win.

The eagle has fragile, weak bones. It sacrifices durability for its precious power of flight. The T-Rex could cripple it with a mere headbutt.

I think the eagle should stick to rabbits and rodents.

I think the aerial advantage the eagle has would allow it to overcome the T-rex easily.

then again.. the t-rex has pretty rough hide, and could get lucky. He'd only have to hit the eagle once, whereas the eagle would have to wear the t-rex down.
If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice.

The T-Rex could sit on the eagle (after disabling one of it's wings with a single bite) and crush said eagle. At least that's what I'm seeing.

Jurassic Park clearly showed that although the Velociraptor is more dangerous for the human, the T-Rex would beat them in a fight.

T-Rex Teeth = death
Eagle beak = death

T-Rex legs = Need's tail for balance
Eagle Wings = Fast, Death from above

T-Rex eyes = Limited visibility (heat and motion)
Eagle eyes = can see the cold sweat of fear dripping off the T-rex's nose

T-Rex arms = useless
Eagle claws = Painful!

T-rex's are always 100 times larger than whatever they're fighting, it's a rule. So it doesn't matter if it's a giant eagle or a fairy, T-rex will beat it.

It depends on how giant this eagle is. If he weights 75% or more of what the T-Rex weighs, then I'd go with the eagle. Otherwise, T-Rex
