Yahoo has free poker. Also, most of the big sites affer free, no money playing too.

I used to play all the time with my buddies.. not so much anymore. There is a bar we go to sometimes it's free to join in the game. There is no cash prize but you can win a like $25 bar tab and if you get first place in points you get a seat in a state wide tourny that can take you to the world series of poker in Vegas.

Yeah I love poker. It's 5.30am here and I just got back from a 3 hour session at the no-limit texas hold'em tables at Crown casino. Is that wrong? My bank balance (+$120) says no!

The best free only poker site is Poker Room/. Party Poker is good, but in the free money games there's always at least 3 or 4 fools who just go all-in first hand regardless of what they have. Poker Room limits you to topping up with 2000 play money chips every 24 hours, so people actually care about their play money balances.

Yeah. That's the best way to go. Makes it fun for everyone and doesn't break the bank.

Yeah, there are alot of morons who do go all in with nothing, but there are some decent players who you can have alot of fun with.
My play money account is finally back over $1.4million.
I would like to play face to face with people sometime, but until I do, net poker will do me just fine.

Thnx guys, I think im pretty decent. I started playing 2 nights ago, and i'm already in place 14 outta 20. which isnt great, but it's not bad either for a starter.
