...Cell phone ringtones, screensavers and such. If you have any good places that give this stuff out for free, I would much appreciate the links. The only one I know of now is 3gforfree.com. Which aparently only works well on sprint, which is what i have. Thanks again for any help.

Uhh, just download midi files to your phone and be done with it. 99% of those ringtones are just ripped off MIDIs.

www.vgmusic.com is great for video game MIDIs.

If your cell phone can play MP3s, then you can send it to them.

But you'll have to reduce the size. Compress it to about 64kbps mono (anything else is a waste on a phone), and crop the time down to less than 30 seconds. If the file size is over 200KB or so, it's not going to be able to download it. (Some phones allow even less, it all depends)

Almost all ringtone and screensaver sites are either massively expensive ridiculous pay sites, or virus-filled horrors. I'm sorry, but I refuse to pay 95 cents for a ringtone of a popular song, when I could buy the actual song off of iTunes and convert it myself.

Well it allows me to send full size/quality Mp3s to it ( i have the new Samsung MM-A900, AKA Blade, but I think its tacky to name it after the razr). It doesnt allow the mp3s you send to it to be used as ringtones... its sprints way of forcing people to spend money on ringtones too.

There are ways to get around it. Try googling it. There should be some sites that will let you unlock the phone and use whatever mp3s you want.
