Toxic sunscreen?

Has anyone else heard anything about this?

If its true, then I'm never using sunscreen again. I need a second opinion from a good dermatologist before i'm ready to believe it entirely, though.

Old aunts used to come up to me at weddings, poking me in the ribs and cackling, telling me, "You're next." They stopped after I started doing the same thing to them at funerals.

Gee... so the choice of death you have to consider now is:

1) Die from skin cancer
2) Die from toxic in sunscreen

Yay.

Gotta have one giant umbrella then if you're going to the beach.

Well, everything is toxic and unhealthy these days. I guess we should continue testing on small defenseless animals.

Um, what constitutes a "chemical" sunscreen? The stuff I buy has titanium in it, I don't know whether that's the active ingredient or not. I bet it's all BS or you'd be hearing about it everywhere. Maybe chemical sunscreen is what they used to use back in the day?

sunscreen or no sunscreen i dont get why people are so goddamn into tanning. if you want the colour, use the spray on stuff or the rub on stuff (there are semi permanent ones), but for heavens sake stop tanning. a lot of the major actresses have actually started promoted the rub on stuff rather than actual tanning or spa tanning because of its critical affects. otherwise, if youre in the sun for long periods of time (like vollyball on the beach) i dont think using sunscreen would be harmful. its for people who get confused and use sunscreen and tan at the same time or juggle the two.

Paranioa... Well they wouldnt release toxic related creams out of PURE negligence so the mass media in todays society would freak over it... All the media is doing.. Are creating fear in todays society. If the news says terrorists put anthrax in pepsi, then people would freak out beliving it. It could be possible because lets face it. Down the road from me was the moleson brewery, for the past 2 years they have been trafficing marawanna. Right under our noses. I mean with everyone in a state of panic.

You being the idiot to so called researchers. Notice a thing that has study on toxic sunscreen. I mean for crying out loud.. If children wear kids sunscreen.. Its simply non-toxic.. So whats wrong with using kids sunscreen? afraid what others will think? I mean if you are that freaked out. Thats the solution. Who in the wrong frame of thought would want to harm children when they sit on a mountian of a few hundread million helping out families protect themselfs from sun radiation? I mean really..

I mean your time will come, not today but not by using chemical related sunscreen.. its like me being afriad of dieing from a big bumble bee.. course I would knock it out, freeze it.. and tie a rope around it so it flies on its own.. Was fun, till a friend got stun then got mad.. good times..

I just stay indoors. Seriously. Pure sunlight is extremely harmful, tans may look good but are really killing you, and, of couse, SUNBLOCK IS DEADLY. Yeah. Screw the beach, Im never going outside again.

When I go outdoors I usually am heavily clothed, even in the summer, including headwear. I have used sunblock very little in my life, and occasionally use a bunch of it when my skin's going to be directly exposed for a while. I think that's a pretty good happy medium..

This reminds me of doctors telling people to drink so much water a day, and now they're saying we've been drinking too much water...

And die of vitamin C deficiency.

How long is it going to take people to realize that everything is bad for you, because people are SUPPOSED to die?

I think just about every substance on the planet has been claimed good for you and bad for you at different times. I think I would rather just live a shorter, happier life.

Get a load of this one. Some guy thought that drinking lots of water was good for him -- the more the better.

So he drank like 6** gallons of it in a day.

** Don't remember the true number of gallons, but it was more than just 2 or 3

Oh, and after reading that, everything sounds like a plea to grab your attention. Also, nothing referenced is later than the 1998. I think if there was a chemical that was toxic, sunscreen companies would have fixed in the past 6 years.

you can die from too much water if you drink so much that your cells try to balance out water levels by in sucking the water outside of them, and thus, explode.
