I urge everyone to watch RvB's PSA on tattoos. Though it's meant to be silly, it actually raises some valid points. Like the people who get those Chinese symbols.



Now, if you get it, that's fine. But whatever.

If I was to get a tattoo, it would probably be the number 42 somewhere. Though one person I heard about tatooed the Chinese symbols for "right foot" and "left foot" on his respective feet, and that sounds like it might be fun.

My first and only tattoo so far, gonna get more.


I'm gonna get this on my shoulder soon. <3 Ruthven for designing those babies. They're SOOOOO cool!! (this is still at sketch stage, the masks are gonna have ribbons and propably some minor improvements)

Oh, and BTW. Getting a tattoo doesn't really hurt. It DOES feel a bit unpleasant, but you won't feel a thing after 10-20 minutes. It's definitely the "unbearable agony" people say it is (that's only to scare the little 15-year old girls from tattooing the name of their current and soon-ex-boyfriend )

don't get tats on your hands, b/c they're difficult to hide and won't look good if you're at a job interview.

Personally, I don't have any tats and I doubt I ever will b/c I know that if I got one, I would soon get tired of it, and then I would be stuck with it. Plus those tatoo parlors are usually dirty-a** places and you can get infections really easily.

Nearly every parlor I've been to (with two exceptions) have sanitation practices that surpass hospitals.

I second that. I've never seen an unclean tattoo parlor in Finland. Besides, they give you a firm set of instructions on how to take care of the tattoo and if you follow those instructions, the risk of scarring, infection etc. are ridiculously minimal.
