what are your thoughts on the future? who do think will win either championship? what will come of these new v8's for '06 season? what do you think of fernando's move to mclaren in '07? and super aguri?...

i bet kimi raikonnen wins the drivers, and ferrari wins the constructors. i am nervous about the v8 engines. i am glad that they will be allowing tire changes again, to offset the speed difference, but i think that the v8 technology is too old. i bet they go to either large displacement v6 or low displacement v10 within 5 years. i am glad fernando is moving. renault was not the right place for him. argure all you want that he won a championship there. he never would have again. super aguri? i hope it will turn out to be good april fools stuff.

V8s can be surprisingly powerful. Although I agree, it's a shame they downsized the engines.

Still, not like they wont still somehow be beating lap records like they always do.

yes by all means, lets boost their engines up to a 9 litre V16 with 4 turbo chargers, and rename it to F1 flying + burning death
Code:
if(getThingFlags(source) & 0x8){
  do her}
elseif(getThingFlags(source) & 0x4){
  do other babe}
else{
  do a dude}

I'd defintiley want to hit that event up.

renault will dominate for a couple-three years from here on out. it's the cycle. look at villeneuve. obviously a world class champion in a williams in his first year. he just made a bad move to a car that wouldn't take him to the finish line. put villeneuve in a renault this year and he'll win races.

i'm looking forward to the tire changes again. it was a really stupid rule.

i don't care much about the engine changes. they'll still get 900+hp out of a v8. look at the 2L cart engines.

it's good to see barichello get out from under schumacher finally. after playing second driver for so many years i would've snapped. and going to a good team i figure. honda will do well in f1. and with button as a team mate it'll be a good year for honda, barichello and button.

bmw now supplies sauber. that'll be good for villeneuve and sauber. williams is going to regret changing to cosworth.

my prediction, alonso is world champ '06. montoya will give him troubles though. he'll be second in the points. ferrari will continue to flounder for a good part of the season.

i don't think williams voluntarily let go of bmw, but sauber certainly came out on top of it. the only downside is cosworth supplying three teams next year, which is a lot, and i like variety.

and i heard super aguri is taking on takuma sato as main driver. they don't know what they are getting into...

part of me wishes Micheal Schumacher will crash and burn, literally :p

But maybe not, thats harsh.

Are Jorden still in the running? I havent seen them at all recently.

ps. Le Mans > F1

They were bought by the Midland Group. Renamed to MF1. Minardi was bought by Red Bull.

'06 season will be interesting, especially with the new rule changes.

they both have pluses. le mans being about the whole endurance thing, whose car breaks first kinda stuff, and it's different classes. but formula one just has some grace about it, being the ultimate race series and all.

you mean being the almost ultimate race series 'cause we have to make it more intersting and all.

do you mean the aerodynamic changes? like the diffuser wing. i don't approve of them either, but it doesn't change the fact that it is the most popular= mostest ultimatest race series in the world.

try that for a superlative overload
