I have that exact same card.

It's not that great. It's good for the money you're spending, but I wouldn't spend more on it than that.

Not too bad for $62, then..I hope it's better than my old 9800 Pro - that would be great..since it's cheaper too :p

I'd say it's a very small step above your 9800 Pro. I went from 9200 128 MB to that X800 128MB, and there wasn't a huge increase in performance. I think maybe I was expecting more, since it was PCI-e and had all of those cool features, but I thought it was underwhelming. Still, it's worth the money you spent.

Uhh.. WHAT?! The x800 is atleast 25 times faster in every single way shape and form. What games do you play? Solitaire?

I know! I was expecting a lot more... I dunno. Don't get me wrong, there was an increase in performace, just not that huge leap I was hoping for for something so "next-generation".

Meh. I got a GeForce 6600 (256mb) for christmas (twas $150, and i know because i had to select it), so i'm good for now. Its a good card... at least compared to my old X300 [shudder].

Is your processor bottlenecking you? I'm also going from a 1.6a@2.133 Northwood to a #ghz P4 with hyperthreading & dual channel RAM, so it should be significantly better.

Actually, my processor has been acting up... I think you'll see a much better increase in performance than I did.
