I assume you actually use these 4 X4's? Like for construction and related activities?

I don't think there are any advantages of owning a 4 x 4 just fora car.

Look at the ground.

When it's white, it's usually slippery. 4wd helps a little, and will help me pull unlucky people out of ditches. :p

Regardless, if it was a 2wd or 4wd, it's essentially the same truck..just a bit taller.

My dad owns a '95 Dakota 4x4. God damn that V8 has a lot of power.

I own a jeep wrangler. Woo for 4x4s. And yes, so you know, they are very useful for daily driving when there is icy ground and also on gravel and muddy dirt roads. Which actually do exists out here, if you're going out into the country. Mostly though, they're just fun and way more bad-*** than two wheel drive cars.

Yeah, a friend of mine has one of those, a 5.3 V8 in a truck about the size of an S10, maybe a bit bigger... good stuff. :D

As for me, I have a suburban, but it's 2WD. :(
