Personally... I think Star Wars needs more scenes changed, unnecessary CGI and I think that the ghost of Barry White should record an entire new set of dialogue for C3PO.

yeah, the reason i got into star wars was going to the cinema to see the 97 release, it was awesome on the big screen. i'll have been about 11 i think.

I saw ANH in a theater in like '96 and fell asleep to wake up in the Death Star Run. I wish I would've stayed awake, would be a good memory.

I haven't watched any versions except for the vhs box set released after ANH was in theaters in 96 (which I watched haha)

It sounds even worse in the German version. I think for the new line they just got some dude to speak it into a can. And that's it.

I bet he will make the 30th anniversary version, although I really wish he'd stop screwing around with it.

I feel it's important to note that Mark Hamill still gets work, mostly as a voice actor, most notably as the voice of the Joker on Batman the Animated Series. Personally, I think he should play Joker in the next Batman movie, just because he does the voice perfectly.

He also played C*** Knocker in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. Luke Skywalker. C*** Knocker. Yeah.
