More graphics card questions..

I only started a new topic on this because it seemed to be a totally different qustion... As I had a few..

I recently purchased a X850 Pro AGP 256 MB Card and am getting it in a few days.. Apparently it only has 12 pipelines, which is OK for me anyways..

After looking at reviews however for this card, I hear a lot of talk about it being "FLASHED".

Then I found a link, saying you can "flash" the card and make it faster, and give it 16 pipelines instead of the 12..

http://www.overclock.net/faqs/44936-how-flash-your-x850pro-xt-pe.html

That is the link..Now here are my questions:

1 - Is htis true?
2- Does it work? As they say it does?
3 - If I were to do it, is there a possibility of messing up my card or computer, unless I follow the instructions precisely?
4 - If I do this, will it void the warranty on the card/computer?

1) Yes, it is true.
2) To my knowledge, all X850 pros work using this process giving it 4 pixel pipelines (and a retarded boost in performance, you're talking 20-30 frames here probably)
3) It probably won't **** up your card, as I've heard no negative stories on it, but it might
4) It will void your warranty unless you can reverse the process without them knowing you did it
5) DO IT
