Code to the left of him, code to the right of him, code in front of him compil'd and thundered. Programm'd at with shot and $SHELL. Boldly he typed and well. Into the jaws of C. Into the mouth of PERL. Debug'd the 0x258.

Have you tried? It actually works without any hassle for me. Just copy the folder "dark" to the hard drive, chmod +w the contents, start dosbox, mount the C and D drives, run IMUSE.EXE from C:\dos\dark\imuse.exe, and then run DARK.EXE from C:\dos\dark\dark.exe.

I have also played X-Wing and Tie Fighter using the same methed... even the joystick works, and I went on to beat a few missions. You might have to tuns down some detail to get it to run well, however.

Also, don't forget to turn the CPU cycles up until you get max CPU usage from top.

In the past, I've also been able to run JED from wine, and I know JK has been known to work.

Its not Vista, its not OSX. Its something... more (ok, its just my heavily modded copy of XP. For those of you who are interested, the sidebar is modified from the theme "Longhorn M4 Studio Black" for Objectbar, and the visual style is Element 2).
