Yeah... So, good ol' Ebaum went and stole something from YTMND. YTMND, being the violent folks they are, decided to wage war on his site. Yeah, this has been going on since noon EST. It's 11:30 pm and still going on.

The funny thing is the ytmnders are all making "omgz we pwned ebaums!!11" ytmnds and that, though not nearly as frequent as the number of threads on ebaums, is actually somewhat flooding the ytmnd recents as well haha

ytmnd doesn't have forums at the moment, so ebaums can't really do squat. They can register and make mean ytmnd's...that's about it.

What's funny is that the forums came back up for about a minute, then immediatly went down when the raid irc channels spammed "FORUMS ARE UP"

I predict a flash will be made about this (akin to ultimate showdown of ultimate destiny). Then, at some time after the "war"'s end, the flash will be duplicated among the websites, causing a renewal of hostility and making it all happen again.

Ebaum steals all of his content from sites like Something Awful, Newgrounds, Fark and YTMND. He steals their work, puts his name on it, and makes money from his theft. He has become a millionaire from content-theft and copyright violation. He uses a sizeable amount of his ill-gotten fortune to hire lawyers to stop the copyright holders from asserting their rights.

By visiting Ebaumsworld you are encouraging him and providing him with advertising revenue. Instead you should visit the original content creators' sites.

After 24 hours, ebaumsworld.com was hacked to say YTMND owns, etc, hacked to say it sucks, turned back, and the forums have went up and down at least 12 times.
